The SMART Notebook SE software bracelet is a USB key that's equipped with SMART Notebook SE software. It's ideal for students who don't have access to their own computers. With the bracelet, students can complete their homework or assignments on any computer, whether it's in the computer lab, library, or at home. It's easy - students take the software and files with them on the bracelet wherever they go and just plug it in. The bracelet comes in both Mac and PC versions.

File storage helps students stay organised

SMART Notebook SE automatically saves files and stores them for easy access in the My Binder tab. This feature helps students work more efficiently and stay organised.

The Flags feature also enables students to highlight important information with colour codes, so they can easily access required material in any of their files when they need it. Students can also quickly search for information by subject, keyword and due date, or use keywords displayed in tag clouds.

 
My Home
Students can personalise SMART Notebook SE software with their own photos, images and information. They can create a home page from scratch or use one of the templates that were designed by students for SMART.
Personal tutoring service
Each student receives 10 minutes of free tutoring time from Tutor.com, a homework and tutoring service that is available anytime.

Design templates
Students can save time by using the easily-customised, ready-made templates for homework and assignments. These templates offer a variety of useful designs for science projects, book reports and other assignments.
ScratchPad
A ScratchPad page is open and ready for use at all times, enabling students to add information whenever they find something that they want to save or write down. Pages are automatically stamped with a date so that they can be easily located.
Tabs
This feature helps students to move content from one document to another in the order they choose. Students can use the tabs to quickly drag and drop objects into documents and add pages to files.
My Binder
Students can organise their digital material - including schedules, assignments and to-do lists - by assigning tags to digital material in their SMART Notebook SE files.
Simple interface
SMART Notebook SE has an intuitive interface, which provides students with easy access to files and quick previews of all materials.
Tag cloud
Students can quickly locate files through keywords displayed in tag clouds. Common topics appear in a larger font, which makes them easier to find.
Flags
Flags enable students to identify information in any file for future reference. They can use this information when studying for a test or preparing an assignment. Flags are colour coded and labels can be customised.
Search function
Students can quickly access files by searching for keywords or phrases. They can see how many results their search produced and view each page that contained a match.
SMART Notebook SE bracelet
Students can take their files with them anywhere using the SMART Notebook SE software bracelet. The green or blue bracelet contains 2 GB of storage capacity for files and multimedia content. All files are saved to the bracelet, ensuring that no files are left behind once it is disconnected from the student's computer or mobile device. The bracelet is available in both PC and Mac versions.
Automatic file back up
All data files on the software bracelet undergo a scheduled backup to prevent data loss. Students can choose where the files are saved.
SMART Notebook software integration
SMART Notebook SE's integration with SMART Notebook software lets you and your students share files using a similar software platform. Use SMART Notebook to create and deliver lesson activities. The software complements SMART Notebook SE and provides students with access to many of the same tools and features. Both SMART Notebook and SMART Notebook SE are available in Mac and PC versions.
