SMART Audio also enhances the sound of multimedia material in your lessons. Simply connect the system to a portable MP3 player, DVD player or other device to broadcast audio files or videos throughout the room.

Reliable wireless technology
SMART Audio classroom amplification system uses infrared wireless technology, allowing teachers and students to move freely around the classroom as they deliver lessons or make presentations. Infrared technology offers high sound quality and reliability - mobile phones and other wireless devices won't interfere with the system. The dual channel ensures that both the student and teacher microphones can be used at the same time.
Rechargeable microphones
The lightweight teacher microphone is wireless and can be conveniently worn on a lanyard around your neck. The wireless student microphone is handheld, so it's easy to share. Both microphones come with rechargeable batteries and wall-mounted chargers - once fully charged, they will last for the entire school day.
Even sound distribution
SMART Audio uses four speakers and an infrared sensor to distribute sound evenly throughout the classroom. This allows students sitting at the back of the room to hear your voice as clearly as those who sit at the front. The speakers can be installed in the ceiling or mounted on the wall with brackets.
Convenient system control
Easily adjust volume and tone using control dials located on the receiver. The receiver processes and amplifies audio signals and transmits them to the speakers. It also includes an integrated infrared sensor, two auxiliary inputs, an auxiliary output and four speaker terminals.
Infrared sensors
SMART Audio comes with two infrared sensors. Choose to use either the integrated sensor on the receiver or the ceiling-mounted external sensor.
Multimedia compatibility
SMART Audio is compatible with a variety of multimedia devices, including computers, MP3 players, CD and DVD players and VCRs. Sound from any audio file you incorporate into your lesson will be evenly distributed throughout your classroom. Use the system's two auxiliary RCA inputs to connect devices quickly and easily.
Works with SMART Notebook collaborative learning software
Use the Recorder feature in SMART Notebook software to record your voice during a lesson and save it for future playback. SMART Notebook's Gallery also has a variety of sound files, such as excerpts of famous speeches, which you can play for your class using SMART Audio. You can also use the microphone to speak over any multimedia audio, adding useful commentary for your students.
Product warranty

SMART Audio comes with a standard 2-year warranty on all components except the batteries, which have a 30-day warranty.
